Pierre Mercier is a Canadian citizen accused and cleared of involvement in the Kilwa massacre. At the time of the allegations, he was General Manager of the Congolese affiliate of Anvil Mining. He was acquitted by a military court in Lubumbashi on 28 June 2007.
